Tao spent many months looking for an Artisan Hemp producer, where we could obtain traceability form the original seeds all the way through to the finished Cold pressed oils. We work directly with the cultivators and audit team to ensure the highest possible quality of our Cold Press oil.
Cold-pressing is an eco-friendly process that utilises the whole plant with all the nutrients left intact for a greater entourage effect. This traditional method of extraction involves applying high pressure to all parts of the hemp stalks, flowers and leaves at a very low temperature.
The Hemp used in Tao’s Cold Pressed products is grown on land which integrates “cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity.”
